CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposited) diamond is the most recent addition to our range of industrial diamond products. CVD diamond is manufactured using high temperatures but unlike traditional methods requiring very high pressure, CVD is manufactured at atmospheric pressures from carbon based gases. 
 
CVD products are pure diamond and are polycrystalline in nature. and therefore have non-directional wear characteristics unlike monocrystalline diamond which has preferential wear planes.

Mechanical Applications
There are two product ranges for mechanical applications; CVDITE for defined edge cutting tools and CVDRESS for the dressing and truing of grinding wheels. 

Optical and Thermal Management Application
The DIAFILM product range consists of four grades for a variety of non-mechanical applications.
